About Us

Our Lady Immaculate & St Etheldreda, Newmarket.

The Church on its current site replaced the old Church in All Saints Road, and was built by Fr. Michael Kennedy (1953-1973)and his Parishioners. They amassed the money in record time with some donations and the familiar modest money raising events. The foundation stone was laid by Bishop Leo Parker of the Northampton Diocese, that included Newmarket at the time, on the 27th August 1964 and the church was completed in 1966. The Parish Centre, attached, was built in 2003/2004.

Our Lady Immaculate & St Philip, Neri, Kirtling.

The Church was built in 1878 by Frederica Baroness North of Kirtling Tower on the occasion of her conversion to the Catholic Church. It replaces an older building of corrugated iron.

Our own Father Anthony Foreman has compiled a detailed, fascinating Guide to the Church, well worth a read. The guide was printed by Book Printing UK www.bookprintinguk.com Remus House, Coltsfoot Drive, Peterborough PE29BF in March 2020.
