Golden Jubilee

As you will now know this is the Golden Jubilee of the Diocese of East Anglia. Several events are being planned at diocesan and parish level. One thing we are doing is a leaflet/booklet of our parish memories. I am now collecting stories, anecdotes, accounts of what you remember of the past 50 years. It may be about the building, our priests, characters, events including fetes, fundraising, socials, missions, visitors, parties, weddings, First Communions etc, anything that has happened. In fact, anything that you consider may be of interest to others. Photographs could be included. Please give a date (or approximate) of your memory so they can be sorted into decades. Light-hearted or serious, all memories welcome. It would be helpful if they were sent via e-mail to alice.fox2024@outlook.com or if you prefer give it in writing, please hand it to the office.
